Wypożyczalnia Jawor
Wypożyczalnia Jawor, our equipment rental, is right by the hotel – you pick the gear up and hand it back on the spot, without driving anywhere and without a boot full of bikes. It is our sister brand, run by the same family, so reception can sort everything out for you.
In summer we hire out bikes, Segways and trekking poles; in winter skis, snowboards, sledges, crampons and snowshoes. A helmet is compulsory and comes with the gear – for adults as well. In the school holidays it is worth ringing ahead to book.

What you can hire in summer
Availability depends on the season and on how full we are – before you arrive, confirm by phone what you need and for which day.
MTB mountain bikes
Kross, in adult sizes. For forest tracks, the practice trails and longer runs down the valley.
Electric bikes
BH AtomX Lynx6 – a range of 40–70 km on one charge, depending on the route and the level of assistance. Climbs stop being an argument.
Children’s bikes
Smaller frames for younger riders. Plus trailers and child seats, if your child does not ride on their own yet.
Segways
A short lesson on the spot, then a ride around. A good idea for an afternoon, teenagers included.
Roller skis
For cross-country skiers training out of season. Niche gear, but we keep it at the rental.
Trekking poles
Poles for trekking and Nordic walking – free of charge or for a token fee. Take them up Babia Góra; your knees will thank you.

Babia Góra Trails
22.5 km of singletrack around the hotel, plus practice trails for those just starting out and a pump track. The trails usually open for the long weekend at the start of May and run through the season.

Winter gear
The nearest slope is 1.8 km from the hotel; the chairlift on Mosorny Groń is 3.5 km away. You pick the gear up in the morning and drive straight to the slope.

For icy trails. In winter they are often the difference between setting off and giving up.

Do I need to book gear in advance?
In the winter school holidays, over long weekends and in the summer holidays it is well worth it. Call +48 33 877 51 98 (reception, around the clock) or +48 605 864 773 and say when you need the gear and for how many people.
Is a helmet compulsory?
Yes. A helmet comes with every bike and every ski set, and it is compulsory – for adults as well. We keep children’s sizes in stock.
What range does an electric bike have?
The BH AtomX Lynx6 covers 40–70 km on one charge. The spread comes from the profile of the route, the level of assistance and the weight of the rider – in the mountains, plan closer to the lower figure.
Where can I ride a bike in Zawoja?
There is around 22.5 km of singletrack nearby, plus practice trails for beginners and a pump track. The trails usually open for the long weekend at the start of May and run through the summer season. Ask at reception where to go on two wheels, in and out of season.
Where is the nearest skiing or snowboarding?
Wojtek is 1.8 km from the hotel, Mosorny Groń – 3.5 km. Skis or a snowboard, boots and a helmet, including children’s sizes, are all here at the Wypożyczalnia Jawor rental shop – plus sledges and snowshoes.
