Winter holidays in Zawoja, with something for everyone

The holiday package covers 15 January – 27 February 2027, a minimum of three nights, check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. The dates of the winter school holidays differ from one Polish province to the next, so you pick your week in the booking calendar – the whole programme (activities, the campfire with a band, workshops, soup after the slope) runs across all six weeks.

The nearest slope, Wojtek, is 1.8 km from the hotel – gentle and short, good for learning and for first runs. The PKL chairlift on Mosorny Groń is 3.5 km away, Pilsko about an hour’s drive. Szczyrk and Wisła are 40–50 km from here, Zakopane about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Yes. The Jawor rental is right by the hotel and in winter it hires out skis, snowboards, sledges, boots, helmets and poles, in children’s sizes too. It is better to book the gear in advance – call the rental directly on +48 605 864 773 (or reception, +48 33 877 51 98).

The holiday programme runs whatever the snow does: evening activities three times a week, family film nights with popcorn, cookery workshops for children and a feast round the campfire with a highlander band every Tuesday. There is also a paddling pool for the youngest – water at 34–36 °C, 40 cm deep – a playroom with a ball pit, a slide and table football, and for older children an Xbox Kinect, table tennis, a two-lane bowling alley and billiards. You can spend the whole holiday in Zawoja without a single run down the slope.

It is a hot soup served in the school holidays between 13:00 and 14:00 for small skiers coming back from the slope. It lands between the runs and the rest of the afternoon, so nobody waits hungry until dinner at 17:00.

A night in the room you choose, breakfast 7:30–10:30 and dinner 17:00–20:00, the afternoon soup for children 13:00–14:00 every day and unlimited use of the Wellness area. Plus the programme: a feast round the campfire with a highlander band every Tuesday, evening activities for children three times a week, family film nights with popcorn and cookery workshops for children. Treatments in the spa rooms, the bowling lane and ski equipment are paid separately – hotel guests get 10% off the equipment.

To guarantee the booking we need a 30% prepayment of the value of the stay, or your credit card details. You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival – the prepayment comes back within 7 days, less handling costs. After that the hotel charges 30% of the value of the booking. You settle the rest on arrival.

Yes, on request we put in a high chair, a travel cot, a toilet seat reducer, a changing mat and a baby bath. Tell us when you book so that we can get the room ready before you arrive.

The sauna area is open from 15:00 to 22:00 – usually about the time you come off the slope. The indoor pool and hot tub are open from 6:00 to 22:00. We open the outdoor hot tub at 15:00, together with the sauna area – it holds 34–36 °C in a frost as well.
