Gift voucher terms

in force from 1 October 2021

• Hotel Jawor in Zawoja (the Issuer) undertakes to hand the Voucher to the Buyer – in person at the hotel, through Poczta Polska or by e-mail – and to accept it for redemption at Hotel Jawor in Zawoja in line with its wording and its expiry date.
• The Voucher is issued once the Buyer has paid the full agreed amount.
• On buying the Voucher, the Buyer receives a VAT invoice or a receipt.
• The services covered by the Voucher and its expiry date are agreed individually with the Buyer.
• The Voucher can be redeemed only at Hotel Jawor in Zawoja.
• The Voucher cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, and it is redeemed once and in full.
• The Hotel is not liable for a Voucher lost after it has been handed to the Buyer. Where a Voucher is damaged or lost, the Hotel allows for a duplicate to be issued at the Buyer’s request. Proof of purchase has to be produced.
• The expiry date is given on the Voucher.
• The Holder of the Voucher is to book a date for using it with the reception of Hotel Jawor in Zawoja (tel. +48 33 877 51 98, e-mail: recepcja@hotel-jawor.pl).
• Where the full value of the Voucher is not used, there is no cash refund and the Voucher counts as redeemed.
• If the service costs more than the value of the voucher, the difference is paid on the spot after the service, in cash or by debit or credit card.
• After the expiry date the Voucher is no longer valid – the Issuer may refuse to redeem it.
• Once a date is booked, the general booking terms apply. A stay can be cancelled up to 14 days before the arrival date and the voucher stays valid in line with its expiry date. Where it is cancelled less than 14 days before, we treat the invitation as used.
• Any complaint about goods and/or services bought with the Voucher is considered by Hotel Jawor at the request of the Buyer or the Holder, once the complaint has been made in writing.
• By redeeming the Voucher, the Holder confirms that the services have been provided in line with its wording.
• The Issuer reserves the right to change these Terms, provided this does not affect rights already acquired by Buyers and/or Holders. Any change to the Terms is published as it is made.
• Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the relevant provisions of the Polish Civil Code (Kodeks cywilny).
